Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich has been taken into federal custody.

Federal agents made undercover tape recordings of Gov. Rod Blagojevich with the help of one of his closest advisers

Investigators are looking into allegations of corruption, involving Blagojevich and the Health Facilities Planning Board, as well as the Teachers Retirement System. The investigation has been going on for several years, and initially, Blagojevich dismissed the claims. But the probe later resulted in the indictment and conviction of Antoin “Tony” Rezko, Blagojevich’s chief political fundraiser.

The news comes just one day after the Governor announced that he is suspending all business with Bank of America untill the bank would reassure credit to Chicago’s Republic Windows & Doors factory in a bold show of support by Blagojevich for the laid off employees of the company.

Say what you will, I’m still glad he was finally arrested. See, I actually live in Illinois and have actually had to see Blago’s corruption first-hand. He’s been under investigation for quite a while now, so if you must belive it is a conspiracy go ahead, after all I’m sure selling senate seats isn’t a crime, right?

While corruption is a crime that’s not the conspiracy, the Bush/Chaney administration has done some of the most horrific crimes in US history and they arnt under investigation or in police custody and the only quest i have is, why? and im sure the answer is somewhere in the fact that they didnt call for any boycotts or federal investigations on any person/corp with any kind of real power. because we all know to get into positions of power in the system the ones above you have to have enough dirt to bury you with if you get out of line… or a rifle and a clear shot
