700,000 Jobs Lost in Feb – ADP

According to the ADP index, which is based on company payrolls,  U.S. private-sector firms cut 697,000 jobs in February. This is the largest job loss ever reported by ADP (Since it began collecting data in 2001).
Goods-producing companies lost 338,000 jobs, the 26th consecutive decline. Manufacturing shed 219,000, whle construction gave up 114,000.
